On The Road to Sucess!

We recently hosted a Despite Back to School Bookbag Giveaway at our Diamond Insurance Solutions office. Despite the rain, the event was a huge success. We were able to serve over 125 families with back to school supplies. We didn’t just stop there, we also gave away free haircuts to 30 boys. Additionally, the event included: field games, jumpy house, dunk tank, food, cotton candy maker, & giveaways. The dunk tank was scheduled for “dunk a gecko,” but the lizard chickened out at the last minute! HAHA

We were also supposed to have a money grab machine, but due to technical difficulties, we improvised & hosted a raffle for visa gift cards. We raffled off $1,000 in visa gift cards that went to 9 single mothers. The remaining food from the event was donated to Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, this donation was able to provide Sunday dinner to 42 boys. This is an organization near and dear to me my heart and I make it a point to help out every Sunday.
